This scholarship is provided by CCB. Applications for this internship are accepted online and are opened in the month of July. This scholarship covers the hostel fees for the entire course. To avail this scholarship, candidates must have a minimum 40-50% in class XII or an equivalent depending on the medical course.

Amount up to INR 4 lakh is given. 10-20% of the seats in various colleges and courses are reserved by CCB.

• Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for University and College Students: Scholarships For Medical Students

This scholarship is for top university and college students and is provided by The Human Resources Development Ministry’s Department of Higher Education. To avail, this scholarship candidate must have a minimum of 80% in XII class and annual income of the family must be lower than INR 8 lakh. There are total 82,000 seats available for this scholarship.

• Vahani Scholarship: Scholarships For Medical Students

This scholarship is for undergraduate medical students and is provided by a non-profit organization ‘Vahani’. It is provided to those children who belong to the economically weaker background. To avail this scholarship, students are selected based on an academic basis and economic hardships. This scholarship covers full tuition fee, accommodation rent and tablet. Total seats are 20 per year.

• BHEL-FAEA Scholarship: Scholarships For Medical Students

It is offered by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited to the students for economically and weaker backgrounds in the category of Below Poverty Line (BPL) who are pursuing graduation. It covers all the expenses of study, that is tuition fee, books amount, travel amount, clothing and miscellaneous as well.

• Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test (NEST Senior): Scholarships For Medical Students

Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test are organized by SEMCI India and Student’s Unity Foundation of India. Class XII and students of MBBS/BDS/BAMS and BHMS are eligible for Senior I’ category. ‘Senior II’ category is for III and IV year students enrolled in the college or university and appearing in final exams of the current academic year. Students who are eligible for this scholarship can apply online. The scholarship amount includes tuition fee maximum up to INR 50,000.

• The All India Pre-Medical Scholarship Test (AIPMST): Scholarships For Medical Students

This scholarship is provided by Brainstorm Technical Excellence. Students who wish to pursue medical can take advantage of this scholarship through AIPMST. Applications are stared in March for this fellowship. Eligibility for this scholarship is a minimum of 60% in XII class and upper age limit is 26 years. Full tuition fee relaxation is provided to the eligible candidates..

• Dr Shamanur Shivashankarappa Janakalyana Trust’s Scholarship Program: Scholarships For Medical Students

This scholarship is provided by Dr Shamanur Shivashankarappa Janakalyana Trust. This scholarship is for the residents of Karnataka who have a family income below INR 1 lakh per annum. The students are given admission in reputed Institutes and as a regular student. Also, the students must have scored more than 85% in X class.

• Bharati Scheme for Education (BSE) Andhra Pradesh: Scholarships For Medical Students

It is provided by the Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation. Eligible student’s parents must belong to the Brahmin community living in Andhra Pradesh. The candidate must be passed in all subjects till the last year of study and family income must be less than INR 3 lakh per annum. Students can apply online for this scholarship through the website of Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation. Relaxation of up to INR 20,000 is provided.

• International Medical Scholarship Eligibility Test (IM-SET): Scholarships For Medical Students

It is provided by American University of Barbados (AUB), School of Medicine to the medical aspirants of Indian origin. Students can apply online for this scholarship. To avail this, the candidates must be students of class XII or class XII pass outs from government, private and government aides schools of any board and any medium, in Indian Territory. Students of foreign schools affiliated to CBSE are also eligible. 100% tuition fee relaxation is given to students who have 70% aggregate in class XII medical stream and are the top 3 highest scoring students in IM-SET, 50% tuition fee relaxation for the top 5 highest scoring students in IM-SET and 30% to all IM-SET qualifiers.
