The demand for lawyers in India is on a rise and studying the course definitely leads to a path of success. Being a lawyer today is equivalent to becoming a doctor or engineer. It is indeed a good professional course after 12th Humanities.

  • Courses: This integrated educational program, BA LLB or BBA LLB (it’s your choice which you want to pursue) runs for five years.
  • Eligibility: A minimum of 40-45% marks (based on category) is required in 12th boards to appear for the entrance exam.
  • Admission: The most important admission test to get admitted to the National Law Universities (NLUs) in the country is CLAT. Besides NLUs, some other law colleges also accept CLAT scores. Then LSAT is also conducted to get admission in the various law colleges in India and abroad besides the NLUs. There are some of the institutes which conduct their own entrance exams like MUClet (Mumbai University), IPU CET (Indraprastha University), BHU LLB exam (Benaras Hindu University), AILET (NLU Delhi), etc.

HOTEL MANAGEMENT

The hotel and tourism sector is a booming industry and hence taking up a hotel management course is indeed a great option to pursue after the 12th.

  • Courses: There are a number of hotel management 3-4 years’ bachelor courses available for students, the most popular of which is the Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM). Apart from this, other courses are also there, such as Bachelor of Hotel Management in Catering technology, B.Sc. hospitality, and hotel management, and in Catering science and hotel management.
  • Eligibility: To pursue this, a minimum of 50% marks in the 12th board is required.

  • Courses: There are some 3 years bachelors’ courses in the field of mass communication and journalism which are generally for a duration of three years.   • Eligibility: First of all, to pursue an undergraduate degree in a mass communication program you need to be a 12th pass with a minimum percentage of 45-50% on the boards.
