• AILET – All India Law Entrance Test is solely conducted by the National Law University of Delhi and students from all over the country are eligible to appear for this examination, given they satisfy the criteria for the same.
• CLAT – Common Law Admission Test, which is conducted by National Law Universities (NLU’s) and there are 18 such Universities that serve the purpose in India.
• LSAT – Law School Admission Test takes place four times a year and helps students secure a seat in other prominent Universities across the country.
• AIBE – All India Bar Exam helps students to learn and understand their abilities to become an advocate thereby giving them an opportunity in the same field soon after a student is a graduate.

List of Law Courses after 12th

• Bachelor of Law (LLB) – This is a three years long course and one can enrol her/him in this particular course after pursuing graduation in any recognized subject. One interesting fact however is that term ‘LLB’ is derived from the Latin language which says, “Legum Baccalaureus”.
• Integrated Undergraduate Degrees (B.Com LLB/ BBA LLB/ B.Sc LLB/ B.A. LLB) – If a student wishes to pursue a career in legal studies along with a general duration degree, then the Government of India has passed an integrated course which would serve the purpose of the students without any hassle and extra effort and gets completed in 5 years.
• Master of Law (LLM) – This course covers a duration of either one year or two years as different Universities have different numbers of semesters for the same.
• Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) – A student who is willing to proceed with the research work can easily do so by opting for this option.

Other prominent courses that students take up are MBA LLM and MBL LLM; both of them is a 3 years course. Therefore, given the number of options provided, students are provided with numerous options to opt both after high school as well as graduation.
