Meteorology Courses in India: Have you ever been curious how those reporters on the news channel can tell whether it would rain tomorrow or not, whether it would be sunny or cloudy and even what temperature it would be, of course not with one hundred per cent certainty or the accuracy, but then again to be able to predict the future, with even subtle accuracy is a gargantuan deal. Give no credits to the reporters though, it’s the meteorologist whom the credit is due.

As a meteorologist one has to observe the environment, study the weather and, predict what would happen next. In terms of importance, meteorology ranks very high on the table. Weather can make or break civilizations, disrupt or replenish economies. To have a prediction on what could be monumental for someone’s livelihood, even if it is meagre on the accuracy, is essential none then less. But prediction is not the only job of a meteorologist, observation and understanding are just as important.
