Eligibility criteria for journalism courses in India
For undergraduate courses
Application of journalism courses can be only applied after passing class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks in any stream.
Some colleges may also require you to have good communication skills, English speaking skills and writing skills.
Admissions are done on the basis of either class 12th marks or on the basis of entrance exams. Some colleges may also conduct a personal interview to shortlist the students.
For Postgraduate courses
Student must have an undergraduate degree of duration of 3, 4 or 5 years from a recognized university.
Students from any stream are eligible to pursue a PG course offered by journalism institutes in India.
Candidates must have required to be appeared for an entrance exam conducted by the colleges offering such courses.
