Banaras Hindu University 2021: BHU, formerly known as Central Hindu College, is a government university centred in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. It consists of the following: 140 departments, 14 faculties, 4 disciplinary centres, 3 institutes, 3 constituent schools, and also a women’s college, it also has several research centres. Moreover, it is the only institute in India that has IIT on its campus only, which is named IIT (BHU).
It was established by Annie Besant and Madan Mohan Malviya, in the year 1916.

BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY 2021: ADMISSION
For a candidate to get admitted to the Banaras Hindu University, he needs to appear for the exam conducted by BHU. It conducts different exams with different names for every level course it offers.
- A candidate aiming to get admission in an Undergraduate course needs to appear for the exam of UET, i.e., Undergraduate Entrance Test, popularly known as BHU UET.
- A candidate aiming to get admission in a Postgraduate course needs to appear for the exam of PET, i.e., Postgraduate Entrance Test, popularly known as BHU PET.
- A candidate aiming to get admission in Ph.D./Research courses needs to appear for the exam of RET, i.e., Research Entrance Test, popularly known as BHU RET.
- A candidate aiming to get admission in dental or dentistry courses need to appear for the exam of NEET, i.e., National Entrance cum Eligibility Test.

Now, the registration process in all 3 exams except NEET is nearly the same. The candidate needs to complete the following steps to get him/herself registered for the Banaras Hindu University 2021 exam:
