Xavier Aptitude Test Details (XAT): Xavier Aptitude Test also is known as XAT is a national level MBA entrance exam conducted by Xavier Labour Relation Institute (XLRI) Jamshedpur on the behalf of Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI). Since the last 60 years, XLRI is conducting XAT at an all-India level to select the most appropriate students for its management programs. Considered as the second largest MBA entrance exam, XAT scores are accepted for admission in MBA/PGDM offered by 11 member institutes and 140 associate institutes.

The best brains of the country aspire to seek admission in the programs offered by XLRI and related institutes. More than 90,000 aspirants appear for the exam every year. XAT exam is held annually on the first Sunday of January. In 2021, XAT is expected to be held on January 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Ideal preparation time for XAT is 6 or 9 months. However, candidates must take their own exam preparation strategy according to their strengths and weaknesses.
