UJET Entrance Exam: UJET Exams stand for University Joint Entrance Test. It is an examination to get admission into a number a university of your preference. The UJET Exam is conducted by Association of Self-Financing Universities of Rajasthan (ASUR). ASUR is an autonomous body which has the responsibility of holding the UJET exam, maintaining decorum and publishing results.

The Idea behind the exam and the autonomous body was to make the process of admission into these colleges easier, smoother and efficient both for the students as well as the universities which used to finance themselves instead of being dependent on the government in the state of Rajasthan.

The examination is for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate aspirants.

UJET Entrance Exam: Eligibility

Bachelor of Technology (All Branches)

ELIGIBILITY

  • The aspirant should have passed 10+2 with science stream (maths and physics).
  • The aspirant should have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10+2
  • The aspirant should have passed 10+2 from a well-recognized board.

Diploma in Business Law

ELIGIBILITY

  • The aspirant should have graduated in any course with a minimum of 50% marks in total.
  • The aspirant should have graduated from a well-recognized college/university.

Bachelor of Arts LLB/LLB

ELIGIBILITY

  • The aspirant should have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate score from any stream.
  • The aspirant should have completed 10+2 from a well-recognized board.

LLM

ELIGIBILITY

  • The aspirant should have passed LLB with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • The aspirant should have graduated from a well-recognised college/university.

PhD in Law

ELIGIBILITY

  • The aspirant should have completed LLM with a minimum of 55% marks.
  • The aspirant should have done their masters from a well-recognised college/university.

Bachelor of Hotel Management

ELIGIBILITY

  • The aspirant should have minimum 50% marks in 10+2 from any stream.
  • The aspirant should have passed from a well-recognised board.

Bachelor of Science Tourism, Hospitality

ELIGIBILITY

  • The aspirant should have a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 from science stream.
  • The aspirant should have passed from a well-recognised board.

UJET Important Dates

  • Last date for applying for the exam- 3rd week of April
  • Date of Entrance Exam- 1st week of May
  • Date of Entrance Exam Result- 2nd week of June

UJET Exam Pattern

The UJET entrance exam has the following areas-

  • Quantitative Ability
  • Reasoning and Analytical Ability
  • General English
  • General Awareness
  • The exam contains 100 questions which need to be answered in 2 hours, the answers are to be filled on a separate OMR sheet.
  • Correct Answer gets 3 marks, the incorrect answer gets -1 and an un-attempted question gets no marks.
  • Extra time is given to fill in details in the examination sheet and attendance.

UJET Entrance Exam: Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is UJET entrance exam score applicable for universities or colleges outside Rajasthan?

No. The UJET score is only applicable for admission for those colleges that come under the autonomous body of Association of Self-Financing Universities of Rajasthan (ASUR). The UJET score would not be considered for colleges or universities outside of the jurisdiction of ASUR.

  • Is UJET entrance exam difficult?

The answer to this depends on your level of preparation, the more prepared you are the lesser it seems to be difficult. When compared to other exams held all over India, most opinions suggest that UJET is not such a difficult exam and one can get a respectable amount of marks if a good amount of effort is put in.

  • Does the UJET entrance exam and admission into ASUR colleges have any reservation policy?

Yes. Reservation in admission to the Universities under ASUR are provided for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other backward Classes, Women, Handicapped persons and other such minorities and underprivileged groups based on the policy of the State government.
