10. King George’s Medical University, Lucknow

KGMU has Scored 62.20 points on the NIRF listing among country’s best medical colleges. KGMU occupies the tenth position among the best colleges in India for medical courses. Established in 1905, King George’s Medical University, Lucknow is a very reputed medical college in India. It is a well-known Institute and is recognised among the best institutions of India. UG and PG programs in the field of medicine are provided by the college. 

9. Kasturba Medical College, Manipal

4. National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences, Bangalore

This college was founded in 1847 by Bangalore Lunatic Asylum. NIMHNS has scored 71.35 points in NIRF ranking scheme and thus making it the fourth best medical college in India. Only the top rankers get admission in this college. The college is known to have a long colonial history. 

3. CMC, Vellore

CMC Vellore earned 73.56 points in th NIRF assessment, which placed this college in the third position among country’s top medical colleges. Dr. Ida Sophia Scudder, the daughter of a medical missionary, founded the college in 1918. It is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University and is a minority institute.
