Indian Institute of Mass Communication: The IIMC, inaugurated by Indira Gandhi in 1965, is an autonomous institute situated in New Delhi. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India supports it. Although the institute is situated in New Delhi, it has 5 regional centres.
