Diploma Courses: Diploma course is of shorter duration in comparison to a degree course. A diploma course can range from 6 months to 2 years. Whereas a degree course is always above 3 years and can take up to 5 years for some particular degrees. For an institution to provide a Diploma course and certificate there is no need for it to be UGC or AICTE approved, which is necessary for a degree course.
