SOL Exam 2023: The School of Open Learning, also known as SOL, is a constituent college of the University of Delhi (DU). Established in 1962, it is located in Cavalry Lines University of Delhi, New Delhi, Delhi 110007. It is one of the premier institutes for distance education, with around 5 lakh students enrolled in it. Both Undergraduate as well as Postgraduate courses, in the fields of Arts and Commerce, are offered in the SOL. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, is the most notable alumni.

There is no separate exam for admission in SOL 2023, candidates will be selected as per the merit list or as per the score in DUET (Delhi University Entrance Test).

The criteria to be eligible to get admission to the School of Open Learning (SOL) is different for different courses. But broadly, the basic eligibility criteria are as follows:-

  • No age-limit.
  • Candidate must have passed Class 12th from any recognized board (like C.B.S.E. OR H.S.E.) for admission in Undergraduate courses at SOL 2023.
  • Candidates must have an undergraduate degree for admission in Postgraduate courses at SOL 2023.
