Naval Architecture Course: Naval Architecture is the science of designing and manufacturing of ongoing sea vessels like ships, yachts, powerboats, steamers, warships, cruise ships and even submarines. With the development of this field of technology, each of the permanent structures, offshore or floating structures have undergone a vast change. A naval architect specializes in many marine activities like dredging, shipment, offshore drilling and transportation. This field caters the discipline from research and development to designing, building and repair of machines. A naval architect is also responsible for economic feasibility and values and security of marine vessels.
B.Tech in Naval Architecture is a four-year undergraduate degree for students with the non-medical background. If a candidate wants to go for M.Tech in Naval Architect, he has to invest 2 more years. Otherwise, there are some institutes that offer a combined course of bachelors and masters degree for 5 years.

Naval Architecture Course: Eligibility
- Candidates must have completed their class 12th from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their main subjects.
- Candidates must have scored an aggregate of minimum 50% in their class 12th.
- Candidates must have scored 50% in English either in class 10th or class 12th.
- Candidates need to clear respective entrance tests for taking admission in this course in various colleges.
ADMISSION PROCESS
Candidates are required to qualify entrance examination for taking admission in their preferred college. Examinations are conducted usually in the month of April.

Candidates should have either bachelor’s degree or master’s degree or a doctoral degree in naval architecture in order to build their career in this field.
