Liberal Arts Career: It is a combination of various subjects like Literature, Mathematics, Social Sciences, and Physical Sciences. Liberal arts program has three verticals –

A major is a field in which a study just focuses on his/her degree. Majors can also be pure majors who include computer science, history, English, and biology. Or interdisciplinary majors, including politics, philosophy, economics, computer science and entrepreneurial leadership, creative writing, English and media studies, etc. 

A minor is the secondary concentration of courses that complements the major. Some of the choices are:-

BA in Liberal Arts is generally 3-year graduation degree and allows students to choose their majors in varied subjects – Psychology, Philosophy, Business Studies, Marketing, Journalism, Advertising & Public Relations, Economics, Political Science, English (literature) and Finance.

Undergraduate (B.A./B.Sc. Liberal Arts, B.A. Hons. in Liberal Arts)– Must have passed Class 12 / HSC or equivalent from a recognized board – Minimum aggregate: usually 45%–60% (varies by university) – Stream: Students from any stream (Arts, Science, Commerce) can apply – Some universities conduct entrance exams / interviews (e.g., Ashoka University, FLAME University, Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts)
Postgraduate (M.A./M.Sc./PG Diploma in Liberal Arts / related fields)– Must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university – Minimum aggregate: typically 50%–60% in undergraduate program – Some institutes may require an entrance exam, statement of purpose (SOP), or interview
