Integrated Program In Management (IPM): IPMAT | Institutes | Syllabus
Integrated Program In Management: Getting confused about what to do after passing 12th? It is a common dilemma which all of us have faced before the beginning of our college life. So, today StepUp Student has brought to you details of an interesting undergraduate educational program that you can opt for as it is surely a gateway to a bright future.
What is IPM?
Integrated Program In Management (IPM) is the Integrated Programme on Management. It is equivalent to the summation of a Bachelors’s as well as a Masters’s degree. It runs for five years during which students are taught the necessary managerial and leadership skills as well as are made familiar with practical knowledge of such fields.
Why IPM?
- Avoidance of appearing in CAT: Well…opting for Integrated Program In Management (IPM) is a good option because after successful completion of this course an individual is awarded an MBA degree, attaining which after graduation needs lot more efforts as then it becomes mandatory to crack CAT, one of the toughest entrance examinations of our country.
- Achievement of dual degree: Another advantage of the (IPM) Integrated Program In Management is that it is divided into the first three years and the last two years, hence making it a dual degree course. Hence, there remains an option for students to step out of this course after three years and they will be considered graduated with a degree in BA or BBA.
- Good career prospects: An IIM graduate graduating with this five year’s long integrated programme equivalent to a bachelors’ degree plus an MBA will be having a higher brand value as compared to a graduate from other streams. This is a very good aspect from the career point of view as it provides much higher chances of employability.
- Easier entrance test: Of course, an entrance test is conducted but it is much easier as compared to CAT or other such post-graduation entrance examinations in which the levels are higher and the preparation required is also more.
- World-class training: Lastly IPM makes an individual a pro in management by inculcating in them all the relevant skills.
