As soon as a student passes out of high school, i.e., 12th standard, there are a number of Universities that provide the bachelor’s course known as BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration). Students from any stream, Arts, Science or Commerce can apply, in most cases this is a three years’ course. There are three prominent sub-courses under this one which is listed as follows:

  • BBA (General): This course is a generalized study of Business administration and related subjects which plays a vital role during the course work of BBA.
  • BBA (CAM, also known as Computer-Aided Management): This is that segment of this subject which deals with the digitalized management as the name suggests computer-related management work.
  • BBA (Banking and Insurance): This sector of BBA primarily deals with the aspects of finance-related informing and aids the process of learning vitalities of banking.

Students who are keen on taking up this option, in the long run, have a few Common Entrance Examinations which would actually help them get enrolled in a recognized Government University. Other than that private universities in India are also well equipped with courses that give students expertise on Management and business ideals.

The exams are listed below and any student who is a graduate or post-graduate from any recognized University in India can appear for these entrances and upon meeting the required cut-offs will be eligible to get in.

  • CAT (Common Admission Test): Over the years, this examination is known to be one of the most difficult entrance examinations. Students are known to put in their heart and soul while preparing for it. Consisting of three segments, this examination will bag you a seat in any of the IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) across the country.

There are currently 20 IIMs in this country.

  • GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test): Another examination that helps students get through other top Universities in India apart from IIMs is this one. However, this paper includes questions not only on the basis of Business Management but also other general day-to-day aspects of life like General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, etc.

The perk of clearing this examination is that, the scores remain valid for the next five years.

  • CMAT (Common Management Admission Test): Another National level examination that gives the enormous possibility to the students to get into a university of their choice.

Other than the above-mentioned examinations, there are exams like GMAC, XAT, MAT, and NMAT which are nationally recognized examinations. Once a person completes studying the course, she/he is eligible to apply for the posts of Manager, Sales Executive, Finance and Public Relations executive. In the next few years, this field is going to be the most opted ones as more people are getting inclined towards it.
