DUSU Elections 2018: Delhi University Students’ Union is the representative body of the students from most colleges and each college has its own students union to which elections are held every year.
Delhi University administration on Saturday evening, announced the election schedule for the central panel of DUSU and college union elections. The dates for counting and announcement of results is yet to be announced.
DUSU Elections 2018 – Important Information :-
- Last Date for filing of nomination papers – 4 September, 2018
- Final Announcement of the list of candidates – 5 September, 2018
- Withdrawal as candidate – 5 September till 12 Noon
- Election Date & Timings for all the morning colleges – 12 September, 2018 (8 AM – 1 PM )
- Election Date & Timings for all the evening colleges – 12 September, 2018 (3 PM – 7:30 PM)

Nomination papers for the DUSU central panel will be submitted with the office of the election officer, and for the college union and central council with the concerned college/ department.
DUSU Elections 2018: ABVP and NSUI are the top contenders fighting DUSU elections this year. AISA’s performance as well which has been showing a better performance year by year in recent past. However, a close watch would also be given to 2019 General Elections as they are also not too far away and no party would want to lose popularity.
