Dairy Technology Course: Bachelor’s of Technology in Dairy Technology is a four year undergraduate course degree. It deals in training and admitting the students in the production, processing, packaging, distribution, transportation and quality control of the dairy products. This course involves basics of dairy technology, dairy engineering, cheese technology, introduction to microbiology, physical chemistry of milk, dairy cattle nutrition and dairy cattle physiology.

  • Candidate must have completed their class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their main subjects.
  • Candidates must have scored minimum 50-55% aggregate in their class 12th.
  • Candidates must have scored a valid score in entrance exams.

ADMISSION PROCESS

  • Admissions in this course are mostly entrance based. Candidates have to clear ALL INDIA ENTRANCE EXAM conducted by ICAR.
  • Some institutes accept the common entrance exams conducted by state.
  • Some institutes also conduct their individual entrance exams. Example Baba Farid institute of technology dairy technology entrance exam and Acharya N.G. Agricultural University dairy technology entrance exam.
  • After clearing the entrance exam, candidates need to clear selection criteria by clearing Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
