- Admissions in this course are mostly entrance based. Candidates have to clear ALL INDIA ENTRANCE EXAM conducted by ICAR.
- Some institutes accept the common entrance exams conducted by state.
- Some institutes also conduct their individual entrance exams. Example Baba Farid institute of technology dairy technology entrance exam and Acharya N.G. Agricultural University dairy technology entrance exam.
- For undergraduate (UG) B.Tech Dairy Technology, admission is usually purely based on entrance exam rank + 10+2 marks / merit.
