Step-By-Step Procedure :-
Step 1: CPT Examination (Common Proficiency Test) or Foundation Level
Step 2: IPCC (Integrated Professional Competence Course) or Intermediate Level
Step 3: Three Years Articleship/Internship
Step 4: CA Final Examination
NOTE: Any student who has passed X class or any course equivalent to that can apply for the Common Proficiency Course (CPC) first.

Chartered Accountant 2019 Updated Course Duration :-
The council has taken the decision of reducing the Chartered Accountant course duration from 5 years 3 months to 3.5 years.
Why CA ?
- Reputed field with 100% employment.
- Offers handsome income with an initial package, may be, Rs.700-800 K annually.
- Supply of CAs is very less, but demand is high. Therefore, one should choose this field of study only if, he/she has the capability to pursue so, in limited time.
- In India, scope for CAs have risen multiple times after PM’s (India) initiatives/policies such as Make in India, GST, etc.
