Biotechnology Career in India: Biotechnology is a broad interdisciplinary branch of biology, which includes living organisms and systems. It refers to the research and development (R&D) of living organisms and systems for exploration, extraction and production of products.

Biotechnology is, a lot of times, confused with other branches of biology like molecular biology, bio-engineering, biomanufacturing, etc. Moreover, Biotechnology doesn’t involve DNA editing anymore either, as it is now termed as a part of another branch known as CRISPR.
