ATMA Exam Details: AIMS Test for Management Admissions or ATMA is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for admission in MBA and various PGDM courses. The result of this entrance exam is accepted all over India in more than 500 management institutes. It is accepted by AICTE and HRD Ministry. This exam is conducted three times in a year, each offering a chance for candidates to improve their scores.

  • Candidates applying for ATMA exam should be Indian citizens.
  • Any graduate with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized university is eligible to apply.
  • Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply.
  • Chartered Accountants can also apply.
  • There is no age limit to apply (neither upper age limit nor lower age limit).

  • Admit card release– third week of May

Step 1: Register for ATMA exam online

Step 2: Fill ATMA application form

Step 3: Upload photograph and signatures

Step 4: Payment of fees

Step 5: Downloading admit card

Step 6: Go to the allotted centre and give your exam

ATMA Application Fee

  • For general candidates are 1298/- INR
  • For women, candidates are 974/- INR
  • For candidates from northeastern states are 649/- INR

Candidates need to complete fees payment online only through debit or credit card.

Entrance Exam Pattern

  • One mark for every correct answer while 0.5 marks are deducted for every wrong answer
  • Exam duration is 180 minutes (3 hours)
  • The exam is divided into 6 sub-sections and each section has 30 Questions and time of 30 minutes

Entrance Exam Syllabus

ATMA exam details consists of six sub-sections

  • ANALYTICAL REASONING- Exam has two parts of analytical reasoning containing puzzles, arrangements, coding and decoding, statement and inferences etc
  • VERBAL ABILITY- Exam has two parts of verbal ability containing reading comprehension, fill in the blanks, jumbled paragraph, synonyms and antonyms etc
  • QUANTITATIVE SKILLS- Exam has two parts of quantitative aptitude containing number system, arithmetic, data interpretation and modern mathematics.

After clearing the cutoff of written test a candidate needs to clear the next round of selection:-

  • GROUP DISCUSSION- A group discussion topic is mostly related to business affairs or current affairs. It is conducted to judge a candidates ability to initiate and effectively communicate their ideas.
  • PERSONAL INTERVIEW- The usual duration of the personal interview round is 10-15 minutes. It is conducted to judge the candidate on the basis of their personality and ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
