Atishi believes that technical education schools in Delhi should be at the forefront of research and innovation.

At the inauguration of two new academic blocks at Delhi Technological University, Atishi, the Education Minister of Delhi, expressed her belief that technical education institutions in the national capital should take the lead in research and innovation. Atishi emphasized the commitment of the Arvind Kejriwal-led government to providing excellent facilities for every student across various institutions in Delhi.

The minister inaugurated the state-of-the-art academic blocks, envisioning them as exemplars where students can access resources to shape their future careers. She highlighted the Kejriwal government’s consistent priority of advancing technical education since coming into power. During the event, Atishi reiterated the Delhi government’s dedication to ensuring that the education and skill development of students are not hindered by a lack of world-class infrastructure or funding.

She detailed the impressive features of the new academic blocks, including labs, lecture halls, faculty rooms, and conference rooms, emphasizing their capacity to accommodate 5,200 students simultaneously. Additionally, Atishi noted the eco-friendly aspects of the blocks, such as rooftop solar panels, a modular rainwater harvesting system, and a connecting sky ramp.
