Types of Teaching Courses :
- B.Ed (2 years)
- DIET (2 years)
- NPTT (2 years)
- B.El.Ed (4 years)
Admission Procedure for B.Ed :
B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education. Process of admission is different for various institutes. Following is the admission procedure for B.Ed:
Stage 1: Candidate should be eligible (above) before pursuing this magical career opportunity.
Stage 2: Candidate have to appear in CET (Common Entrance Test) and need to score a good rank. One must check the dates of examination on the website of respective educational body.
Stage 3: Exams are generally held in the month of June/July, consisting of objective type questions about GK, English, Mathematics & Basic Computer.
Stage 4: Candidates who scores a good rank gets more choices to get admitted into any of her/his favourite college.
Admission Procedure for DIET :
DIET stands for District Institutes for Education & Training. Admission procedure for DIET course is same as for B.Ed. The Only change is – Candidate is not required to do graduation to get admitted. However, the CET and rankholders’ stage is similar (above).

Admission Procedure for NPTT :
NPTT stands for Nursery-Primary Teachers Training. There is no prescribed criteria for admission in NPTT course. However, it only requires minimum eligibility of 10+2 (50%).
Admission Procedure for B.El.Ed :
B.El.Ed stands for Bachelor of Elementary Education. Admission procedure for B.El.Ed is totally same as for B.Ed.
