JEE Exam 2018Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) to offer admissions to interested students in undergraduate engineering courses at NITs (National Institutes of Technology), IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology) and other  CFTIs (Centrally Funded Technical Institutions) located in India.

JEE EXAM 2018 (Mains) –

Paper 1: Candidates who wants to pursue BE/B.Tech. at NITs, IIITs and CFTIs.

Paper 2: Candidates who wants to pursue B.Arch/Planning courses.

NOTE: A candidate can opt for any or both of the above papers.

JEE Exam 2018 (Mains) registrations has commenced from December 1 and will conclude on January 1, 2018.


EXAM PATTERN –

Candidates are allowed to give the exam in either of the two mediums :

  • Computer Based Exam
  • Pen-Paper Based Exam

Duration of JEE Exam 2018 (Mains) – 3 hours

Total No. of Questions – 90 


MARKING SCHEME –

Computer Based Exam & Pen-Paper Exam:
  • For every correct answer – 4 marks are awarded
  • For every wrong answer – 1 mark is deducted
  • No response to the question – no deduction
  • For every question asked in the exam, only one response is correct so candidates are advised against selecting multiple responses.
