Career in Law Field: Law,  in simple words, is a legal boundation or specific set of rules which are ought to be followed by each & every citizen of a particular country. In fact, law courses have higher scope in coming future.

Career in Law Field : Eligibility :-

  • 12th pass (min. 50%) in any stream
  • Good command over languages like English, Hindi and so on
  • Communication skills should be very good

Career in Law Field : Admission Procedure for Law Courses :-

Stage 1: Choose from Streams Available for Law Students

  • LL.B (Bachelor of Laws or Legum Baccalaureus) – 3 years
  • Integrated UG Courses 2020 (BA. LL.B., BSc. LL.B., BBA LLB, B.Com LL.B) – 5 years
  • Integrated PG Courses 2020 (MBL LLM or MBA LLM) – 3 years
  • Master of Business Law – 2 years

One can choose from above streams according to his/her choice & suitability. However, streams available for Law courses depends on one’s educational background like Arts, Commerce or Science.

Stage 2: Appear for CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) Examination

Through CLAT, students are admitted in Integrated L.L.B and L.L.M courses. Forms are released every year to apply for given exams.

Some of the private universities conduct their own admission test. Some popular law entrance exams are:-

  • AILET (All India Law Entrance Test)
  • DU LLB Exam (Faculty of Law)
  • MH CET Law (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law)
